We have been customers of Oriental Plaza for many, many years and have always enjoyed their food. Unfortunately, today’s experience was very disappointing and completely unexpected. We ordered some of the same dishes we have ordered before for home delivery, but this time the quality was very different. The duck had an unpleasant smell and did not seem fresh, and even the cucumbers were wilted and unappetizing. We tried to eat a little, but honestly, it was difficult, and we ended up leaving most of the food untouched. This is especially disappointing because we have trusted Oriental Plaza for so many years and always considered the food fresh and delicious. We really hope this was just a one-time problem and not a change in the quality of the restaurant. Sadly, after today’s experience, we are not sure we will order from Oriental Plaza again.

Went to a friends house and suggested we order from here. I have no clue why but we did. We all ordered combos mostly sesame chicken some shrimp and I order steamed chicken and mixed veggies with spicy garlic sauce. Also someone ordered sliced bbq tips. It took an obscene amount of time to deliver. When it came we couldn't believe how things were placed in containers. Extremely haphazardly. The soup was in coffee cups not containers not normal restaurants. Everything tasted like it was just "sitting around " the steamed chicken HORRENDOUS. Rubbery with a corn starch substance on it. I order this dish often since I have gluten issues and everything is drenched in soy. It's usually good at other restaurants not here!! The pork tip looked like sliced deli meat. We called bc it was super expensive and no one ate. I spoke with a John. He said he wanted the food back and he would give us half the money back. So, I have questions.. what is he doing with the food? Is he going to resell it? And why is he so stingy that he wouldn't give us our full money back totaling 22 out of 110 back! Went today for lunch with my hubby. The women who seated us didn't say a word nor crack a smile. The place is very outdated and needs a complete make over! Getting servers to take our order was very slow, but once they did food came quick. Wonton soup very doughy and was a bit cold. Beef & broccoli sauce super heavy General tsao had heavy batter, but was OK. Noodles & duck sauce were my favorite part.

First time here. So many recommendations off of fb in a group formed with residents who live in Staten Island. Restaurant is VERY OUTDATED. Needs major upgrade. Food wasn't so good. Only thing that was delicious was the shrimp and broccoli, ribs and the spring rolls. Fried chicken wings were freshly fried which was great but had no seasoning what so ever and there was to much batter on the chicken. My boyfriend ate them. The general tso chicken had way to much batter and the vegetable fried Rice smelled spoiled and was way too soft. We told the waiter and he told us they sell alot of the general tso chicken and they pay so much for it so for it to be thrown away wasn't good. Wouldn't go back here again to dine in. I would just take the ribs and shrimp and broccoli to go. The alcohol drinks were very strong and good. The sushi was also good as an appetizer. Older crowd in there 50's and up. Didn't get to take a picture of the sushi. My boyfriend ordered a large ribs to go after eating the small for an appetizer. Bbq sauce was delicious on them

Wasn't too busy, so we were sat quickly. The dumplings were great and would highly recommend, teriyaki was tender and sauce was on point, the rice was so fluffy and not hard at all, and the california roll was so refreshing.
